Re: Timeslips 10/Ledes on windows 7

If you are using the CD at all to load new workstations, you are already down the wrong path.

Hope this helps.

Re: Timeslips 10/Ledes on windows 7

The program cd should only be used for installation on the server not on the workstations. If you didn't reinstall on the server you might just be able to install on the workstations using the loclinst folder on the server.

However, If you meant Timeslips v10 rather than Timeslips v2010 be aware that Timeslips v10 is not compatible with Windows 7 and you really should upgrade to minimize possible problems.

Re: Timeslips 10/Ledes on windows 7

We merely got a new computer...no servers...single workstation.  Timeslips 10 loads and runs on Windows 7 64 bit with no problem.  Installed disk with Ledes1998 on it but it does not show up in my client info or on my bills.

Re: Timeslips 10/Ledes on windows 7

What do you mean it does not show on the client info or bills? If you go to bills is Ledes format delivery shown as an option? If you go to the client information and click on the arrangement 2 tab at the bottom can you change the Bills Sent to Electronic Delivery to Ledes 1998?

Did you have electronic billing setup previously?

Installing Ledes does not change your bill layout or clients. You still have to setup custom fields, add task, reference and expense codes and do some basic setup. Then you generate the bills and put them in proof stage. After that you send them electronic delivery format for uploading.

Sounds like it didn't get properly installed. Go into setup - features enabled. Is it listed there? Can you enable it?  If not, you will need to install again.

We didn't suggest that becuase you said you installed the Ledes add-on. You can't install it without the code.

Re: Timeslips 10/Ledes on windows 7

Thanks :smileyhappy: I used the Timeslips installation code because I did not realize there was a separate code for the add on.  We purchased the add on a year ago.... but tanks for all the help anyway...we are back up, running and billing our clients in electronic format :smileyhappy:
