I am searching for a report to show which expense slips i entered throughout the month and I can not find it.
Can someone help me. Not slips that were billed but just entered.
Thank you
Sue

I'm not sure if this will do what you want, but try looking at Audit Trails under Help. By default, though, Timeslips does not keep track of when data was entered. (If it will do what you want, it may be too late to capture data that has already been entered. You probably have to activate the Audit Trails before it will start tracking.)
You may be able to get a good idea, though, if you sort your slips by Transaction ID number. Since they are assigned sequentially as slips are entered (*), this will at least tell you which ones were entered before/after other slips.
(*) Unfortunately, if you use Timeslips Remote, then this doesn't work, as the IDs are assigned as they are transferred into the main database. But I'm guessing if you are using a networked version of Timeslips that people are connected to live as they enter data, then all of the slip IDs are assigned sequentially.
Maybe someone else has an answer or a better idea...
Good luck.

See if this gets you what you want.
From the topmost menus:
1) Reports
2) Slips
3) Double-click on Slip Listing
4) Clear any filters that you find on the right
5) Now add back in:
5a) Slip Transaction Date (under Most Popular) and choose the date range you are interested in
5b) Slip Type (under Slip) and check ONLY Expenses.
Print to Display first to see how many pages you would get and if it is what you want.
Hope this helps.

Duh! (Maybe...)
I thought gismony was asking for a list of slips that were physically typed into Timeslips during a particular month, NOT the actual Start Date and End Date (a.k.a. Transaction Date(s)) entered onto the slips!
Thank goodness we have people like Nancy Duhon around!!

LOL. Well,.....we'll see. I agree the original question was a bit vague. Let's see if that's what she meant.
Thanks.

Yes everyone, I wanted to see which slips I typed in so I wont duplicate it. And yes I went to slips and filtered for expense slips for a certain period of time and it worked great.
Thank you all for your help.
I am navigating around this program and trying to really understand it.
Susan
